Prince Du Marr, the Human Tornado, the Devil’s Son-In-Law, the Turban-Headed Prince Of The Blues. Indeed, the multi-faceted man known as Rudy Ray Moore—or, perhaps more commonly, Dolomite—is all of these things. Dancer, R&B pioneer, comedian, independent film maker…Moore’s fifty-year career has hit on virtually every aspect of black show business (at age sixteen even did a stint as Bobby Marchan’s valet, when Bobby was singing lead with Huey “Piano” Smith and the Clowns). The Mystic Knights of the Mau-Mau are proud to announce that Rudy Ray will be lending his Master Of Ceremonies talents to the proceedings on the first night of the Stomp.
