The first in a monthly series of shows at the Mid-City Lanes Rock ‘n’ Bowl in New Orleans, September 6th, 2003. Show starts at 9:00 PM.

The Stars:
Gulf Coast soul queen
Barbara Lynn doing her earliest and best hits like "You’ll Lose A Good Thing" and "Second Fiddle Girl" AS WELL AS her great Crazy Cajun sides such as "Shed So Many Tears" "I’m A Good Woman" and "Sugar Coated Love."

South LA Soul Master Lil Bob, (aka Camille Bob), performing his Lil' Bob and the Loillipops smash and Mau Mau anthem "I GOT LOADED," as well as "Nobody but you " and a rare treat - his 70's funk sides as Camille Bob with"Brother Brown."

Deep Funk guitar legend Ernie Vincent, performing his cult classics "Dap Walk," "Things Could Be Better" and the obligatory "Things Are Better."

Crescent City soul and funk master Rockie Charles in a program of his rarely performed early sides such as the Senator Jones-produced classics "Riccasha" and "Sinking Like A Ship" as well as the great "President of Soul" and "Bring My People Around The Curve."

And last but not least, the only glue that could hold such a stellar show together, Li’l Buck Sinegal and his Buckaroo Orchestra, featuring the genius drumming of Nat Jolivette. Straight from Lafayette, Louisiana, Buck and the Orchestra will be handling backing duties for the entire show as well as doing their own set spotlighting their own brilliant funk-soul classics "Monkey In A Sack" and "Cat Scream."

The Grease:
Pre-show, post-show and in-between set entertainment will be provided by DJs Chase 1, Soul Sister and Assphault spinning only the finest deep soul and funk rarities!
