Performance Changes
Lazy Lester, Betty Harris, Carl Mann and ? and the Mysterians will not be performing at this year's Stomp due to previous commitments. Alvis Wayne and Dale Hawkins will not be performing due to illness.

Proceeds of the Ponderosa Stomp are going to the New Orleans Musicians Clinic and Musicares.
Tickets
Tickets for the Fifth Annual Ponderosa Stomp are available and are $40 per night and general admission. Re-entry is allowed. You must be 21 or older to attend.
Advance tickets are available to purchase online as of January 20, 2006.
Tickets will be available at the door the night of the show.
The Gibson Beale Street Showcase, Memphis
The temporary home for the Stomp in 2006 in Memphis is at the city's multi-level Gibson Beale Street Showcase, 145 Lt. George Lee Ave Memphis, TN. No one under 21 will be admitted.
Hotel Accommodations
Special discount rate for Ponderosa Stomp attendees at Wyndham Garden hotel, 300 N Second St, Memphis, TN. Rooms for 5/7,8,9 ,and 10 are $150 per night inclusive of all taxes.

2006 Blues Music Awards
After the Stomp, go see the 2006 Blues Music Awards. The Blues Foundation is delivering more than just a new name for its highly-coveted honors in 2006. The list of nominees for the 2006 Blues Music Awards features a number of new names, and the first-time nominees are not limited to the Best New Artist or Comeback categories. The Blues Music Awards, set for May 11, 2006 at the Cook Convention Center in downtown Memphis, will see almost 20 artists looking to take home their first Blues Music Award. The presenting sponsors are once again Gibson Guitars and Baldwin Pianos. more info
