Mary Weiss

The Shangri-Las gave a voice to real teenagers, with Mary's explosive lead vocals delivering emotion-packed melodramas that made them one of the most consistently exciting groups of the day.
In 2007, backed by the Reigning Sound, Mary recorded "Dangerous Game," her first album of new material since 1965 for Norton Records, with Billy Miller and Greg Cartwright producing. Dangerous Game includes songs written by Greg Cartwright, John Felice, Andy Shernoff, Billy Miller and more.
Mary is now performing with her new band: Dennis Diken (Smithereens), Sal Maida (Roxy Music, Cracker), Richard X. Heyman (Doughboys et al.), and Dave Amels (Reigning Sound et al.)"
