Homer Henderson
Homer Henderson, who performs as "Amazing One Man Band" and with Eve and the Exiles, is a Dallas alley cat with an encyclopedic knowledge of the strange and a writer of anthems for losers, loners and misfits. His slashing, deranged guitar playing accentuates his terrible passion as he rips through rock and roll songs like "Night of the Phantom", country numbers like "Lee Harvey Was a Friend of Mine" and "I Want To Date A Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader" and tributes to blues greats like Jimmy Reed and Bo Diddley. His one man band act more closely resembles Hasil Adkins than all the trendy imitators who've sprung up in the last few years and is not to be missed. He has played the darkest back alleys and beer joints, and then executes a 360 to collaborate with vaunted writer/journalist Nick Tosches. Homer is a true Texas original, as unpredictable as he is talented.
